About Find A Helper

This COVID-19 crisis has created a difficult situation for many, especially those who are elderly, immunocompromised, or have other conditions that may increase their risk when leaving their house. My name is Sofia Milosavljevic and I decided to start Find A Helper in March 2020 to help those most at risk get the supplies they need. As a recent college grad majoring in Public Health at Johns Hopkins, I thought I could do something to help. I’m young and thankfully had the advantage of being healthy and at low risk, but this made me want to help those who weren’t. The issue was I did not know where to look for opportunities to help. Growing up in The Woodlands I know there is a strong sense of community here and that many people feel the desire to help, but don’t know exactly how to find opportunities. Find A Helper’s purpose is to fill this gap by facilitating connections between those looking for a way to help and those who need a helping hand.

Marko Milosavljevic helped found the organization and is a Finance Major at University of Houston. He has graciously served as the Marketing Director and Head of Partner Relations to help promote the organization and establish community partners.
